At Urban Bar we offer the unique chance to personalise some of our key barware items. Create a unique gift for the bartender in your life, or make your own custom set of bar tools. Follow our simple guide to learn how to personalise Urban Bar barware.
Step 1 – Choose Your Engraving Type
When you have chosen the product you want to personalise, choose the engraving type from the “Engraving” drop-down menu.
If you know how many you want, enter the quantity in the quantity box under the engraving options. Alternatively, you can change the quantity on the basket page.
Examples of the engraving types on different finishes can be seen on the main Personalised Barware category.
Step 2 – Add Your Engraving
Once you have selected your engraving type the “Add Engraving” button will replace the standard “add to cart” button.
The customisation software will automatically load on your screen.
The customisation area will already show “Enter your text.” – simply click on this text to edit it and show the text formatting options.
Make sure the text box does not exceed the customisation area – if it does, the text box will turn red, indicating you need to reduce the size.
Step 3 – Done
Once you are happy with your text, click the green “Done” button.
Your personalised barware will be automatically added to your basket.
If you have 1 engraved item in your basket you will see the flat price. If you have more than 1 engraved item in your basket, you will see the reduced cost per item, as per the rate table below.
Our customisation software performs best on desktop screens – if you are using a mobile device we strongly recommend completing your personalisation purchase on a desktop or laptop computer.
If you are using a mobile device, the customisation software will most likely not work in portrait mode – try rotating your phone to landscape mode to enable the software.
How Much Does Laser Engraving Cost?
Laser engraving starts at £15 per item, with price breaks available at larger quantities.
The initial £15 is already incorporated in to the price shown on the product page. For example, if a plain strainer costs £5, you will see a light engraved strainer costs £20. There are no extra costs added during your purchase.
